Недавно прочёл, что Kolo заимел +256 Mb оперативки. Меня охватило такое сильное желание собезьянничать, что аж не выдержал — купил.
Купил в Mega Tech у известного Бакмилца Рината.
Принёс — воткнул. Ничего не ощутил. Комп как тормозил, так и продолжал тормозить.
Решил провести дефрагментацию и по пути заметил, что из 80 Gb свободных осталось только 200 Mb. Ужаснулся, поднял челюсть с пола и за 15 минут вычистил 10 Gb хрен знает чего.
Ну а потом, «полители-полители-полители-полители» (с) ТаТу

С обновкой. Теперь переходи полностью на ZDE.

Кстати, насчет IDE для PHP: Котеров предлагает использовать PHPEclipse(видно, не любит он Zend IDE)

Гы. Разница лишь в том, что ты купил, а я честно отобрал ;)
Особого ускорения, кстати я не заметил, фотошоп по прежнему грузицца пол часа. Разве что в HL2 приятнее развлекатцо.
baxi: Почему-то сильнее разница заметна в java приложениях.
Вот редакторы jEdit и ZDE начали летать. Я даже в jedit на фоне японку приклеил и не тормозит :)

на XP я почуял разницу когда поставил еще 128 на 128 - стало леать, а потом когда еще 256 то эффект был только в играх или уже когда играет радио, записывается диск, свернут андерграунд, и сижу в нете смотрю фигню

Ну насчет Java приложений ты правильно заметил. Они память-то как раз и жрут. Требования JBuilderX, например, миним. - 512, рекомендуемые - 768 Mb ;-)

VIAGRA is prescribed to treat erectile dysfunction (ED).

If you have prostate problems or high blood pressure for which you take medicines called alpha blockers, your doctor may start you on a lower dose of VIAGRA.
